Camping Newquay, Cornwall
Bliss countryside, a stones throw away from Newquay and it’s fabulous beaches.
What are you waiting for?
In June 2018, we opened our purpose built Toilet and Shower block, situated in the centre of our recently developed camping field. The facilities caters for everyone, providing a little bit of luxury to your camping holiday. The facilities house a disabled shower and toilet room, along with baby changing facilities, pot wash area and shower cubicles that are large enough to suit young families. Over the past few seasons we have made a number of changes and developments to the site. We have widened and improved our entrance off the main road. A new access road for the tackle shop and fishing lakes has been implemented behind the campsite, therefore significantly reducing the amount of traffic through the campsite. We have recently made available our new extra large 16amp hardstanding pitches all with their own water supply on the pitch. For the 2022 season, you will be able to take advantage of our new laundrette, dog exercise field and free WIFI. For that extra piece of mind, we are also increasing security around the site by adding a number of cameras and an AMPR barrier system at the entrance.
Gwinear offers peaceful caravanning and camping next to a beautiful fishing lake. We’re always popular, but never overcrowded. We offer a friendly, safe and relaxing holiday atmosphere, providing the freedom to enjoy your own style of holiday. Our well maintained camping pitches are large and have water and electric hook-up points and panoramic views of our specimen lake and of the Cornish countryside.
There is plenty of space in which to enjoy a family BBQ or to sit and relax in an idyllic setting. We are also close to the villages of Cubert and Crantock with their pubs, village shops, tea shops and cafes. Gwinear is also a stones throw from 3 of the most beautiful beaches in Cornwall – Hollywell Bay, Polly Joke and Crantock Beaches.
